Itinerary

 

Day 1

Arrival in South Africa

You will be collected from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and taken to your hotel to rest for the night

 

Day 2

You will be driven to Sekekama Tented Camp, where you will check into your accommodation at around 14h00.

 

After some time to relax, depart at 15h00 for a 3-hour afternoon sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle in the Blue Canyon Reserve. Return to camp around 19h00 for a boma fire dinner and tranquil night under the stars.

 

Day 3

You will be taken for your full day Kruger game Drive which will last about 7 to 8 hours, during which you will venture into the Orpen-Satara area. You will return to the camp with time to unwind and get ready for starlit dinners around the fire.

 

Day 4

You will wake up to a morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast you will check out and be transported to Johannesburg

 

Day 5

You will fly into Victoria Falls from Johannesburg. You will be picked up from the airport and taken to your hotel for some time to rest. At 15:30 you will be taken for your Zambezi Sunset Cruise. After your cruise you will be taken back to your hotel to rest for the rest of the night

 

Day 6

After Breakfast, your assigned driver and Tour Guide will pick you up for your Guided tour of the Falls. Here the Guide will elaborate on the different points within the Rain Forest and give you the History behind it all. After the tour of the falls, your driver will take you to the next activity which will be of the 15 min Helicopter Flight above the city and the Falls. You will get to have an aerial view of the area uninterrupted by the dense forestry or animals. After your flight you will be taken for lunch at the LookOut Cafe which is located on the edge of the Batoka Gorge where you can find some exhilarating activities such as the gorge swing, zipline and bungee jumping which you can partake in if you are interested at your own cost. After lunch you will be driven back to your lodge for the rest of the day. At 19:00hrs you will be picked up for Dinner. You will be taken to Boma Dinner and Traditional Dance where you will get to partake in some authentic african cuisines while enjoying some traditional music and dance which you are allowed to participate in.

 

Day 7

After breakfast you will be picked up by your driver and taken across the Zambian Border where you will get to experience the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. After this tour you will be taken to the Livingstone island where you will get to swim at the edge of the falls in the Devil’s Pool. After the exhilarating morning you will be taken for lunch at your own cost then transported back to your hotel for a free afternoon.

 

Day 8

After breakfast you will be checked out then transported to the airport for your departure.
